Dietary Requests

i don’t know if you remember, but i definitely remember going to WDW as a vegetarian and the only option available was an iceberg lettuce salad. no beyond burgers. no impossible burgers. if you wanted a veggie burger, get it without the patty. so happy that times have changed!

Disney has come a long way since those days. tasty plant-based meals are an option at seemingly every restaurant. oh boy! most dining and quick service locations can modify orders to accommodate your dietary requests. There may even be an allergy-friendly menu available. just ask! if you’re keto, gluten free or have a severe allergy, disney is there to help.

still concerned? plan ahead. 14 days before your arrival, you can email: special.diets@disneyworld.com

one thing to keep in mind, you are allowed to bring your own food into the park and resort hotels. however, cast members are not able to prepare those meals for you. if you’d feel more comfortable preparing your own meal, bring a cooler into the park and rent a storage locker for the day. most resort hotels have a mini fridge and microwave. if not, call housekeeping or the front desk to see if one is available.

and don’t worry! if you’re flying, you don’t have to pack and check a bag just for food! welcome to the modern age! you can order from food delivery services and have it delivered to the front lobby at your resort hotel. way too easy.

just a couple of the many food delivery options are amazon prime pantry, grubhub and even shipping groceries from your home. juuust make sure you’ll arrive in enough time so they don’t sit at the front desk too long. do some research ahead of time and see what delivery options work best for you.

there are so many ways to eat healthy and enjoy your disney trip!
