When you shell out beaucoup dollars to stay at the Grand Floridian or Polynesian, you should expect that all amenities are glistening with Disney magic. The health club at Grand Floridian did not meet those expectations. It feels outdated, run down and beat up. Granted that not everyone’s must on a vacation is to work out. But it is absolutely one of mine! Grand Floridian guest rooms are getting a refresh, hopefully the gym will too. The gym does have all the basic equipment plus hand towels and drinking fountain. This gym itself is small and Grand Floridian and Polynesian share one gym. It gets pretty packed, pretty quickly. Expect to rotate into someone’s routine.
